30,000 Barrel per day Refinery

This Refinery was designed as a 30,000 barrel per day refinery.
Before it was installed, it was changed to an 18,000 barrel per day refinery.

The layout drawings (available on request) show all of the other equipment included in the package.

Former employees of the original designer of the plant have agreed to help in any modifications necessary to achieve the 30,000 barrel per day capacity.

The design, process information and the basic equipment listings are available, however they are included in a book too voluminous to add to this page.

We have allowed for a new boiler to replace the existing one.

The plant has a small laboratory, desalter, salt dryers, a caustic treatment plant, and a complete Merox treatment unit, all capable of operating at 30,000 barrels per day.

The refinery operated for only eleven (11) months running sweet crude only, even though the refinery was designed to handle heavy sour crude.
The plant was shutdown with a diesel and nitrogen blanket.
